We are on a mission

Our story dates back to the summer of 2019 when our team discovered the massive hurdles interfacing with users’ student loans. We dug deeper and learned that there is a systemic data and payment access problem across all types of liabilities. Our mission is to address the inequality gap by providing consumers with more competitive and affordable credit and to empower consumers to better manage their liabilities in one place, using cutting-edge tools that have historically been reserved only for financial professionals.

Method has made a genuine technological breakthrough with its debt repayment API. The vision of automating a consumer's balance sheet will now become a reality.

Method raises $16M to power loan repayment, balance transfers and more across fintech apps

Method, a startup that aims to make it easier for fintech developers to embed repayment, balance transfers and bill pay automation into their apps, today announced that it closed a $16 million Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Truist Ventures, Y Combinator (Method’s a Y Combinator graduate), Abstract Ventures, SV Angel and others. Co-founder Mit Shah says that the new cash will be put toward product development and growing the company’s headcount from eight people to 28 by the end of the year.
